We are starting to get glimpses of summer in our CSA deliveries, but some spring items, like spinach and bok choy, are still hanging on.  That being said, this week’s spinach offering was a Japanese hybrid, called Okame spinach, which is a more heat tolerant variety.

The blueberries we’ve been receiving are from a farm in Madera, CA.  The blueberries are absolutely delicious, and are like eating candy.  Receiving these in the delivery have basically ruined any other blueberries for me – thanks Larry Hirahara Family Farm.

This week’s roundup included blueberries, cucumbers, zucchini, bok choy, Okame spinach and romaine lettuce.
