They say that to have a well balanced diet, you need to eat the rainbow (and I don’t mean Skittles) – based on this week’s delivery, I’ve got some work to do to bring in some colours other than green!
I love kiwis and the ones that come from my CSA are especially good – they also tend to last in the refrigerator so much longer than the ones I buy at the grocery store. The pears looked so delicious – I made a pear galette a while ago…hmmm…
For veggies this week, I kept things simple (and green) – bell peppers, zucchini, celery and broccoli.
