I was running low on some staples in my pantry, so decided to stock up in this delivery with some red and white onions and limes. I have been in love with Swiss Chard ever since I had it at Herbivore as a side with their fabulous potato-soy pie (with mushroom gravy of course), so when I saw it on the list of available items to order, I had to include it. I was thinking of miso soup when I ordered the shiitake mushrooms, but the 91F weather is not quite screaming soup right now (of course it gets screaming hot right after I write a post about fall soups).
I think I’m going to make a Greek salad – have some beautiful tomatoes and oregano in the garden, and they will go perfectly with the green peppers.
Ohhhhh do you have a mushroom gravy recipe????
I have a great one, but for now, it’s all in my head. Next time I make it, I’ll make sure to write down the measurements and keep you posted.
