Breakfast of Champions!

I recently bought the Aladdin BPA-free plastic tumbler for transporting my smoothies, and I love it! No condensation on the outside and no wet messes in the car on the way to work!  I saw these at my local Costco, but they are also available on Amazon (of course).

My favourite smoothie option these days is a frozen banana, frozen blueberries, almond milk and a scoop of my Amazing Grass GREENSuperfood.  A perfect start to my vegan day!

  1. I’ve never tried AmazingGrass… From the link, it looks you have the chocolate version? Does it taste dry or chaulky as a lot of chocolate smoothie or milk mixes? Does the AmazingGrass have a flavor of its own or do you only taste the fruit you added?

    • I do have the chocolate version (for no other reason than I like chocolate). I don’t think I’d enjoy this powder with just milk, but in a smoothie, the slightly grassy flavour is masked pretty well. As long as you mix it with a bit of water before adding to your smoothie, I don’t notice any sort of chaulky aftertaste (and I’m pretty particular about that sort of thing). I almost feel silly saying it, but I really do feel a lot better when I have this as a daily addition to my diet. If you’re interested, I think you can buy individual serve packages at Whole Foods to try it out.
